Dr. Gary Perdew and Dr. Andrew Patterson along with The Pennsylvania State University are proud to announce the hosting of the 2022 AHR Symposium: Toxicity to Therapeutics. The Symposium was held June 19-23, 2022. The 2022 AHR Symposium brought together world-renowned scientists in an integrated program to discuss the latest knowledge on the role of the aromatic hydrocarbon receptor (AHR) in a wide range of fields, from basic immunology to cancer immunotherapy. AHR is recognized as a transcription factor activated by many pollutants, responsible for the induction of xenobiotic metabolism enzymes and receptor hyperactivation can lead to toxic outcomes such as tumor promotion.
The venue of the conference was held at The Pennsylvania State University in University Park, PA and provided a unique environment for all those who wanted to foster/develop collaborative projects and expand their understanding of the complexities of AHR biology.
